Gift Ideas

Hello everyone,

Wow -- can you believe June is here?

Aside from the lovely weather, June also brings lots of fun occasions -- weddings, graduation parties, Father's Day, not to mention baby showers and birthdays. With that in mind I'd thought I'd feature a couple of gift ideas for the ladies on your list.

Margie, owner of Etsy shop studio 1227 mentioned recently that she had paired my keepsake box with her earrings on Pinterest. Today I'm featuring that pairing, along with a couple of other ones.

Here are her beautiful pink tear drop earrings!

Pink pearl earrings. Pale pink bead earrings. Pearl dangles. Pearl tear drops. Gifts for her. Delicate earrings.

Wouldn't they be a lovely surprise to find in this pink keepsake box from my shop, Pretty Byrd Designs.

This gorgeous turquoise wrap bracelet caught my eye. Isn't the color outstanding?

Turquoise bracelet. Teal bead bracelet. Turquoise wrap bracelet. Turquoise bangle. Southwest memory wire bracelet. Fits most wrists.

I think it makes a great presentation with my small keepsake box in matching colors.

I have one more combo to show you. The natural colors in this beautiful beaded necklace are so appealing.

Yellow bead necklace. Brown beaded necklace. Green bead necklace. Unique boho necklace. Green Pale Yellow Tan. Natural colors.

Here's just the box to use for gifting. I love how the color of the yellow beads matches the color of the embellishment on the lid of the box.

I hope you enjoyed the pairings I showed you today. Be sure to visit studio 1227 to see Margie's great selection of classically cool jewelry!

I'll be featuring more combinations for gift giving ideas soon. Thanks for stopping by today!

What Happened to Spring

The calendar says it's Spring, but when I look out the window I see snow falling! And, the temperature dropped to 18-degrees last night! Easter is a week away, but it feels more like Thanksgiving or Christmas!

With that in mind, today is the perfect day to feature a couple of my bright and cheery creations and make believe that it's warm and sunny outside.

I love that gorgeous yellow flower!! The flowers were from the Blossoms set by Bo Bunny!

The green and yellow flowers are definitely a pick-me-up! Who wouldn't love to receive this greeting!

Here's a little journal I made a while back. The colors are just perfect for this time of year! It would be a fun book to use to plan out this year's garden!

Any one of these items would be a great way to give a cheery hello!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Welcome Spring - Little Cards

Hello and Happy Spring!

Now that spring is here, there are going to be all kinds of events, parties and holiday happenings in the not-too-distant-future!! You know -- Easter, Mother's Day, Weddings, Babies -- just to name a few.

If you are like me, I end up scrambling at the last minute for a gift card or tag, or even a thank you card. Today I'm featuring a set of four little cards that just might come in handy for those upcoming occasions.

These little cards were created using Ewe-N-Me Printables Collage Sheet - Sweet Girls  and I have to say these image are adorable! The collage sheet has six different images in two different sizes. I used the smaller 1.5" x 2.5" images today.

I selected four of the images and adhered them to a blue 3"x 3" card. Aren't they so sweet -- I love the vintage look!

In keeping with the spring theme, I punched out pink flowers and attached one to each card. And, because I love a little sparkle, I added a bit of glitter to the edges of each image.

I'm going to keep these little cards on hand. They'd be handy for a last minute gift tag, or as a set could be used as hostess gift, too!

Please visit here for more of Deena's wonderful collage sheets!

As always, thanks for stopping by and do stop back soon!

Mini Shadowboxes

Happy Wednesday!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and participated in the Ewe-N-Me Printables Valentine's Hop! It was a lot of fun ... stay tuned for more in upcoming weeks!!

Valentine's Day is just days away so today I'd like to show you a couple of sweet little shadowboxes I made recently with this holiday in mind.

The frame needed assembly -- but it was easily put together with a bit of kraft glue. After that, it was so simple. Using my small square punch (1-1/2) I punched out three squares of coordinating paper. I liked mixing the stripes with the plaid and florals!

Once the squares were glued in place, I added two distress-painted chipboard hearts and a lovely message!

I created another shadowbox using a mix of vintage style papers! I love the way it turned out!

The size of these mini shadowboxes is 5" x 1-1/2" and they are about 1/2" deep. They'd make a delightful and charming gift or would be so sweet just sitting on shelf.

Thanks for stopping by today!
