Live Simply Card

Hello -- and welcome to the first week Spring!

Resolutions are always so popular at the beginning of the year. And here we are, months later. Has anyone kept up with their New Year's Resolutions? It's never too late to start fresh and what better time than the beginning of a new season.

That's why I love Ewe-N-Me Printables Live Simply Bookmarks. What a great reminder -- and isn't this image great?

Bookmarks - Live Simply

I printed the downloadable on white cardstock and cut out one of the bookmarks to use on a greeting card.

I trimmed the image so that it would fit on my 4 x 5-1/2 size card. After gluing the image to a piece of lavender paper, I attached a strip of ivory lace trim and adhered to a white card.

I added a little wooden butterfly embellishment that I stamped with french script in black ink.

Isn't this little girl just delightful? In keeping with the theme, I kept this card simple. It was easy to create and I only needed a few embellishments.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Bring Flowers - Bookmarks

Happy Friday everyone!

It's time to start the weekend and a new month! I'm glad to say good-bye to February and winter. And, I'm looking forward to March and the return of spring and all it's beauty. Today I'm featuring bookmarks I made with Ewe-N-Me Printables Printable Bookmarks - Bring Flowers.

This downloadable is just gorgeous -- with the beautiful flowers and vintage sheet music background. There are four different images on a sheet and I printed out two sheets so that I could use the same image on the front and back of my bookmarks. All you have to do is print and cut -- so easy!

I punched a hole at the top of the bookmark so I could thread a piece of white lace trim through it. Unfortunately, doing so covers up the words "Bring Flowers" but the lace trim goes so well with the vintage look of these bookmarks.

I hand-stamped "just a note" on a scrap of white cardstock and attached that and a bit of black and white gingham ribbon to the bookmark. As a finishing touch, I added two clear beads -- I think they look like dewdrops that you'd find on a flower after a gentle rain shower.

Have a great weekend everyone -- and as always, thanks for visiting.
